Patricia, a lovely senior who lives in a high-rise for seniors in Dallas, came to visit us and to meet Benji. Benji had become homeless when his elderly dad passed away. He adjusted well in our red cabin and especially liked the air conditioning and big bed! Benji had been an outdoor dog, so he thought life had just gotten better! Patricia thought he looked like a ragamuffin, but had already fallen in love with him. She had recently lost her dog of about 15 and was mourning her loss and wanting a lap dog to cuddle with and provide her that unconditional love that only a dog can give. Benji went home with her that day and has since lived a fabulous life, as Patrcia is retired and has lots of time to give to sweet Benji. She says Benji rescued her! One of our staff members recently visited Patricia and Benji’s home and had a photo to share from the balcony overlooking the courtyard. Seniors for Seniors provided this lucky dog and this lucky woman a new and happy life together!

The first two photos are of our very first kitty adoptions. They are siblings and were able to stay together. The couple who adopted them had recently become “empty nesters” when their last child went to college; they felt their home was just a little too quiet and they needed a warm, fuzzy creature to love this winter. So with two new kitties, they can each hold one! This adoption was certainly win-win!

Seven labs rescued from a rural neighborhood where the family could not afford to spay their animal. We took the seven pups and the mother to make sure no more unwanted animals were born. See the seven labs. they were vaccinated three times to over the six weeks we had them and were able to rehome all of them while they were little and cute! See the seven labs at the water tub and two individual pups highlighted in Pic #2. See Leda in Pic #3 rescued from a park after over a year of feeding her and befriending her. She had likely not been vaccinated ever or in a long time. We were able to save her life and find her a forever home! See her forever family in Pic #4. She is smiling from ear to ear. Thank you Petfinder Foundation for helping us save more lives! WE LOVE PETFINDER!
