We were able to cover numerous spay and neuters, opening up funds for other medical treatment and better overall general care.

How many pets did this grant help?

35 total: 13 felines neutered, five felines spayed, nine dogs neutered, and eight dogs spayed.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Sadie May was an 8- or 9-year-old beagle who had spent her whole life on a chain before coming into us as a stray. When we took her in to be spayed, thanks to your grant, they found several large mammary tumors. Had she not gone in, they would have probably cost her her life. Sadie has since been adopted by a great family where she is fitting in beautifully. She now gets to spend the rest of her days cuddled up inside with her loving family.
