When Juniper came to KCHA, she was underweight and had mastitis, an infection of the mammary gland. She had been caring for her puppies and making sure they thrived while her own health declined. After she arrived at KCHA, we administered vaccines, dewormer, and antibiotics to treat the infection. We were able to spay her once she got to a healthy place, and many happy tails as Juniper has found her loving forever home! She is the dog on the left in the photo.
