For the care of the Shelties within the organization, for general expenses such as food, shelter, vet care.
It provided food and vet care.
Honey Bear is a long-term foster within our program, as she is in her 16th year. She requires special meds and care as her age demands. She came to our organization with another senior Sheltie in 2009, when the economy tanked and their family lost their jobs and home. She weighed 58 pounds, which is severely overweight for a Sheltie, and her teeth were rotten. I got her dental work done, and she weighs 23 pounds now. She has a very strong constitution, and she is just an unbelievable dog. Thank you for allowing us to care for her as we should.
