Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

There are so many stories, but the one that comes to mind is Niko. Niko is a young dog who has a spirit like no other! He is as handsome as can be. He was a tad rambunctious, as a young dog without manners can be, but because we were able to stay open during the quarantine time and increase our volunteer capacity due to our stringent cleaning methods, he was able to continue to get his much-needed exercise and training while we continued to feature Niko and interview applicants. The perfect person came in to adopt him. It was an immediate connection. We are so grateful that we are able to stay open due to stringent cleaning methods and wonderful volunteers.
