The donation was for $22.50, which helped with the dog’s neuter. The dog sponsored was Stuart, who has been adopted. From his Petfinder profile: “Stuart is an amazingly wonderful boy. He is 3 years old and we aren’t sure of his breed mix, but he looks like a miniature golden retriever. At 30 lbs., he is the perfect size to hang out with you wherever you are — like on the sofa watching TV, sleeping with you in bed or taking a ride in the car. He has enough energy to be a walking companion and he will need targeted exercise a couple of times a day. Stuart is very congenial and gets along well with other dogs and cats as well as children. He likes to play with toys and will occasionally chase a tennis ball. Stuart is housebroken, walks well on a leash and will sit for a treat. Stuart ended up in [an open-admission] shelter because his mother had to move in with family members and they would not allow him to move in the home with them. Stuart was used to sleeping with his ‘mom’ and being her constant companion, so he deserves a home that will make him a true member of the family.”
