Your $250 grant went towards unexpected COVID supplies needed to keep operating and caring for animals, thermometers for staff, masks, and hand sanitizer.

It definitely helped defray costs that we did not budget for and enabled us to keep staff healthy. No one on our staff has contracted COVID.

Since May, we have been able to take in and care for 135 local animals, including seven cats from another overcrowded and less-equipped shelter in Vermont. The COVID supplies partially covered by your grant made it possible for us to stay open and be there for local pets who needed us, including Melvis (pictured), who came to us when his person died and the family could not take him. He has been adopted.
