How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kong products we received will be used for enrichment for pets in our care. We have a very timid burned puppy (pictured) who LOVED her Kong! She got to pick one herself and chose the blue one. We filled it with a little treat and she loved it even more!

The pets that did receive the Kongs were helped by our giving them enrichment. We filled the Kongs with a variety of pet-friendly fillers.

Ursa came to us with a severe burn down her back. It is believed that it was a chemical burn and could possibly have been intentional. She has been with us for about a week and a half and has been very very shy and timid.

Her demeanor changed and she became a more trusting and playful pup when she was given a Kong. She became even happier when we filled the Kong with a little extra surprise.
