How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The treats we received were given to all the cats and dogs here in the sanctuary, which they looked forward to every day. We also gave them in our adoption packages, and we gave them to people in need with through our pet-food assistance program.

This grant helped us in many ways: It provided treats for the animals, it came in handy for our adoption packages, and we were able to add it to our pet food bank for animals in need.

On a daily basis, 80+ in the sanctuary, and for the public, well over 50 animals in need

Every day it provided treats to all the fur babies who otherwise would have done without because our funds are needed for medical care, food and litter. By receiving this grant of treats, the animals have been very excited to hear the shake of the can and they all come running to get it. Each home had its own supply as well. It is a struggle to do other things with our very little funding, which is needed for other necessities. When we helped animals in need they also received the treats and were very happy to receive them. Some of them never had gotten treats before until now. So there are a lot of happy fur babies thanks to you.

The first photo is a girl from Alabama visiting the cats in the sanctuary and giving them the treats. She really enjoyed the attention and they loved the treats. She is a sponsor of the animals we care for.
