The $500 received from this grant assisted with the purchase of five dog crates (one 36", two 42", and two 48") and six slip-lead dog leashes.

The crates and leashes are increasing retention through our Pet Resource Center assisting families in need of these basic items.

Two of the dog crates were provided to a family where the dogs were able to escape through a window. The family was not able to contain them otherwise, and we did not wish for them to be surrendered as they were adored by the family.
