We ad a very shy cat named Buffy who would attempt to hunker down in her metal litter box. This made it difficult for potential adopters to notice her. We placed the resting platform portion of the card board carrier in her pen with a towel. This made her less frightened and more social. buffy was adopted shortly thereafter.
