How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We used this generous funding for scratchers for the cats, calming spray to help cats be calmer throughout the adoption special and on the ride to their new home, and Kitty Kasas cubes (pictured) to help cats have a place to hide and sleep in our group rooms to help them be more comfortable, less stressed and more adoptable.

Reducing stress during the adoption process has helped pets go home with more success. Providing them with enrichment including places to hide and scratching pads has helped them get adopted and be more comfortable while in our care.
