Commerce Humane Association/Barchard Shelter: A Shot at Life Vaccination Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We vaccinated our shelter animals which freed up funds to provide additional veterinarian services for our animals.

With the funds we saved by not having to purchase vaccine we were able to provide needed veterinarian services for some of our needy animals. We removed an eye for a puppy that came in with a ruptured eye. We also were able to provide care for a dog that had been hit by a car. He had a ruptured eye which had to be removed, his skull was split open and requires care to granulate it back and his teeth needed a lot of work.

How many pets did this grant help?

675 animals vaccinated
