New Life Cat Rescue: KONG Toys Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

As a foster-based rescue, we are always in need of toys and items for our foster cats. The KONG toy box we received was full of feathery toys, balls, crinkle mats, and catnip, all of which have kept our fosters happy and playing. We thank you and our fosters thank you too!

Izzy is a foster with a medical condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia, which affects her balance and walking, but she can climb and run and keep up with her foster siblings.

One of her favorite things to do when she’s happy is to lie on the ground and knead her paws, and she’s absolutely loved the KONG crinkle mat that came with our donation box. She loves to lounge around on it, chew on it, crinkle it up, and nap on it.

Izzy is scheduled for her spay surgery in August and will be available for adoption afterward.
