Sasha had some fluid build-up around her heart and required surgery to cut a small hole for the fluid to escape from the sac around her heart. The surgery was very expensive and every amount donated helped!
Update March 22: We have some very sad news. Last night we had to say goodbye to Sasha. We had taken her last week to for an ultrasound to see why she was drinking a lot of water. We found that that her cancer had spread to her lungs and maybe her kidneys. We had known her time was very limited, just not this limited.
She was a very special girl. She was one of the sweetest dogs I have met and she always had a smile. Although she never was able to play with other dogs, she did have a friend when she was inside. She seemed to like our Sadie and they would go on walks together.
I am glad Roger and I were able to bring her in the house so she could experience that before she passed away. I hope she is running around with Mason and Stella. Behave yourself Sasha!
