Our organization only rescues animals that are special-needs, in need of medical care, and seniors. The additional funds from the sponsorhip allow us to help supplement the extensive costs that injured animals and those with severe illnesses accrue.

We received a $25 sponsorship from the Petfinder Foundation through the Sponsor a Pet program. Rigby was our dog who received the sponsorship. Rigby had extensive medical issues when she came into our program. She had severe pneumonia, a very bad injury to her face, and a vaginal hyperplasia. She required several surgeries and reconstructive surgery for her face by a specialist. The funds went towards her care. It took us almost an entire year to find her a home after she was returned by her first adopters. Since she has a timid personality when first meeting people, it made it difficult for her at adoption events. However, just this past week she went to her forever home and they are doing great!
