Nieve was a flood rescue. He somehow got a break in his diaphragm, which allowed all his internal organs to migrate up into his chest cavity and around his neck internally. Our vets operated, and 24 hours later he’s already up and recovering. He was well enough to be fostered out. We’re so grateful to be able to help pets like him because we are getting such great support from foundations like yours.
