Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

The funds were use to help support Sophie, an 8-year old cat with FIV, during her time at Friends For Life before she found her forever home. She was on a special renal diet to support kidney function and keep her healthy. Sophie was adopted in March of 2019. Her mom bought Sophie her own bed, but Sophie refuses to use it and snuggles with her parents in their bed. She loves her new home and is even gaining weight!
