Pumpkin was a bulldog we rescued from a West Tennessee puppy mill who needed cherry-eye surgery and a complete tail amputation due to an ingrown tail caused by bad genetics. From her Petfinder profile: “Pumpkin here is a spitfire. She loves everyone and everything. She is very active and loves to play and go on walks. She is good with all dogs except strong, dominant females. She loves kids. She has not been cat-tested. Pumpkin is super active and just enjoys doing what bulldogs do, and that’s sleep, eat and fart :). She was rescued from a puppy mill in West Tennessee. She is on eye drops for dry eyes (and will be for the rest of her life); she has been treated for cherry eye and will soon have surgery for an ingrown tail. This is a major amputation, and she will need to go through recovery before being adopted. Her age, based on our vet’s best guess, is around 2-3 years old.” Pumpkin has been adopted.
