The product was used to provide enrichment and activity for our shelter animals.

The grant of Kong products helped both our organization and our animals. It served as a budget-relieving donation and saved us money that we were able to put back into the care of our animals, and it helped the pets in our care by giving them toys to play with and increasing the enrichment activities they have.

Waluigi (first and second photos) was brought to us a stray, single puppy. Being a singleton, Waluigi needed extra attention, socialization, activity and enrichment opportunities. Kong toys not only gave him many hours of fun, challenge and “good” chewing, they also allowed him to experience different textures and sensations when they were filled with biscuit treats, pumpkin puree, and peanut butter! Between our dedicated staff and foster volunteers, Waluigi got the care he needed to get him ready for adoption. He was adopted into a loving and warm family that will give him a forever home. Thank you!
