Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

One of the animals we were able to rescue was Sassy, a white female cat who was severely injured with an ulcerated eye as well as multiple skin infections and sores throughout her little body. She was a neglected stray who, we believe, was attacked by another animal.

Once she recuperated from treatment, she was spayed and given the time for a full recovery in a loving foster home and has now been adopted into her forever home.
