How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

the product was used while the cats were waiting for adoption and while in foster care.

We were able to use the scratch pads while cats were housed in their cages waiting for adoption. We also used them to give to the adoption parents. This was a means of providing the cats a place to scratch and encouragement for training the kitties to not scratch on furniture etc..when going to their new homes.

How many pets did this grant help?

We gave away 69 scratching pads to cats that were adopted for the period Nov - to Feb 2nd.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

We had several kitties that we felt this helped with their socialization. We felt it help show their playfulness and personality while displayed in their cages. Some of our cats enjoyed just laying on these and showed off their cuteness.
