The money was used towards paying for surgery for a dog in our care named Yasmine. She has luxating patellas in both hind legs and required surgery and follow-up physical therapy.

We were able to use the money towards the total vet costs, and every penny counts when having to pay the bills we accrue.

Yasmine came to use from a shelter in Maryland. She is a young Jack Russell who had luxating patellas in both hind legs. She required surgery to repair both so she could walk normally without her hind legs giving out on her. She is currently undergoing physical therapy after the surgery.
