Winne was a 9+-year-old Great Dane who was left at a Southern shelter with a very large mammary tumor. With the support of our volunteers and the community, we were able to keep Winnie comfortable and give her seven happy months in a wonderful foster home. Sadly, Winnie passed away at the end of May, but she was surrounded by people who loved her and she didn’t have to spend her final days alone in a shelter.
