Home at Last Dog Rescue: Purina and Amazon Treats for the Holidays

What was the money or product used for?

The Beggin’ Strip treats were handed out to our foster dogs. Treats are used for training our foster dogs while they are in our care.

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Home at Last Dog Rescue relies heavily on donations for food and treats so that adoption fees can be used for medical care for our foster dogs. The donation of Beggin’ Strip treats provided 240 bags of treats that we are still handing out.

How many pets did this grant help?

On average we have over 100 dogs at a time that these treats are being handed out to.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Annie (first photo) is a 4-year-old hound mix who was rescued from a South Carolina shelter. She has since found her forever home! Isaiah (second photo) is a 4-year-old shepherd mix who was rescued by Home at Last. He loves treats, especially Beggin’ Strips, and will do his tricks to get more treats. Isaiah is extremely affectionate and loves to snuggle on the couch with his humans. Please check him out on Petfinder (www.petfinder.com/petdetail/21546126).
