Spay surgery: The donation paid for about 75% of the cost.

All our rabbits are spayed or neutered before they are made available for adoption, so it is critical for us to schedule and pay for surgeries as soon as rabbits come into the shelter.

Nudge was one of three rabbits for a school project, and the family had two cats and two dogs in the home as well. That was too many pets, so they surrendered the youngest bunny, Nudge, to us. After she was spayed, Nudge was put in a local PetSmart store where we keep adoptable rabbits. She got a lot of attention (which she LOVED) and was adopted in April 2016!
