Main Line Animal Rescue: Purina and Amazon Treats for the Holidays Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received 11 cases of Friskies® Party Mix® cat treats valued at $285.71. We included the treats in our adoption bags that we send home with cat adopters.

It was a nice extra to give to our adopters. We do not place as many cats as dogs, and this was an added perk so that hopefully adopters will tell their friends to adopt from MLAR. We have never had an adoption fee and we count on word of mouth to get people to choose our rescue over others. The more positive the experience that an adopter had, the more they will recommend us to potential adopters. Treats and a goodie bag is always a great added incentive!!!

This wonderful family adopted a three-legged cat from us at Christmastime and received Friskies Party Mix Cat Treats in their going-home goodie bag. They had a wonderful experience at MLAR and came back in March to adopt two more kitties!
