Medication for dry eyes for Little Bit, the sponsored pet. This was the second donation from the same donor for this dog.

All of our adoption fees go toward medical needs, and Little Bit needed a professionally compounded medication on an ongoing basis. The donation was reserved for his needs.

Little Bit was a previously adopted dog who was returned due to his owner’s declining mental capacity. His family decided they couldn’t keep him, and while we are still in rescue, our contract says we will take them back. So we had Little Bit back for about six months, but then we found him a new home with an adopter who had medical experience and was willing to take on the cost of his ongoing medications. He is a very happy boy now!
