How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Used for puppies and small dogs needing socialization in the small lobby area of shelter facility. A few products available in retail area for suggested donations to help pay for everyday care of shelter animals.

Provides a comfortable place for small dogs, puppies and those not feeling well to have some extra TLC in the front area of the shelter.

Two puppies had been found recently in a local rest stop and brought to the shelter quite cold, hungry and frightened. They were able to stay in the lobby area comfortably on their PLAY Pet Beds while awaiting medical evaluation and foster care availability. Probably not the best use of the beds for play and not exactly what the company meant when naming them; however, the pic of this puppy a short while later shows how hardy they are 🙂
