How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This money that was donated through Sponsor a Pet was directed towards Henry's Fund, an account that was established to provide medical care for dogs in need who enter our shelter.

The majority of dogs who arrive into our facility are found as strays and are in dire need of medical care -- everything from spays/neuters, dentals and vaccines to heart surgery and leg amputations is given.

This grant has been directed towards Frosty, a Cockapoo who arrived into rescue last week in pretty rough shape. Frosty came in with infected ears and eyes, needed dental work and is now awaiting surgery to repair a torn ACL. (A different dog named Frosty is pictured.)
