This grant allowed us to select the perfect home for a male cat, Theodore, without having to charge an adoption fee to the adopters.

Theodore came to us after his owners went through a divorce and neither wanted to keep him. He was dropped off at our door and we were lucky to have the owner tell us his name before they rushed away.

He had not received any vet care in years. We had his vaccines brought up to date. He was already neutered. We microchipped him as well.

He was initially very shy and hissed every time he saw us. We earned his trust and he became a very friendly, sweet, cuddly boy again once he felt safe and loved.

We were able to find a perfect home for him, with the company of another cat and two retired owners. Thank you for helping Theo find his furever home!
