Jethro is a small brindle pit bull who was rescued from a life on a chain. When a Tulsa police officer saw him, she noticed he had a horrible embedded collar, so she got the owner (an elderly man) to sign the dog over and took him to a veterinary office and contacted us. Jethro remained there for three weeks after undergoing surgery to remove the collar. They had to remove a large amount of tissue as well, so his neck will never look completely normal. Jethro is a very sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. Meet Jethro:
