Paws and Hooves Rescue Foundation: A Shot at Life Vaccination Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We rec'd a vaccine grant that we used to vaccinate dogs and cats upon intake into our facility.

By providing the vaccines at no cost to the shelter, we were able to provide more care to additional animals with the savings this created. Our intake of cats had an increase in the vaccinations offered and thus promoting a better quality of care for these kitties. We are excited to partner with Boehringer and Petfinder Foundation on this and will continue to use the vaccines for our intakes.

How many pets did this grant help?

25-30, still helping more

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Max was a stray that wandered up to a house with his two siblings. One was able to find a home but the other two were surrendered to our facility. Max and his brother were vaccinated upon intake and started their journey to a new life. Max and his brother have both been selected to go to homes in Illinois, all the way from Stilwell Oklahoma. What lucky boys they are and big wet dog kisses from them both to Boehringer and Petfinder Foundation. THANKS!!!
