We received cat treats for the cats.

We used the cat treats in t heir "egg-cercizers" dispensers for enrichment.

How many pets did this grant help?

All cats in our shelter that would eat them. Some cats did not like them. Roughly 500 cats.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Cher was a very shy cat, very unapproachable. She came in from a hoarding case. It wasn’t until we tried the Kong treats with her that we were able to start to pet her when she was distracted by eating them. We are still having some difficulty with her, but the treats have allowed us to “break the ice.”
