How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

To help us build a bigger Thumper's Room. Thumper's Room is our quarantine room--all new cats and kittens that arrive spend their initial time here. In the past, we only had room for 4-5 newbies. Now, we can house even a dozen or so at one time! This room also is used for our vet's check in care.

It highly improves our quality of health and it also allows us to take in more kittens and cats.

Every single kitten or cat that comes thru! Probably 250 a year

We had a cat that had been hit by a car. Had a fractured upper palate and crushed lower left jaw and a tongue that was almost bit completely off. Her name is LillyAnn. She had to be tubefed 4-5 times a day. She was housed in the new Thumper’s Room, which gave us lots of space to be able to work with her and allow her to have a big roomy pen.
