Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Tanner, a 1.5-year-old Yorkie and Italian greyhound mix, came to the shelter along with 16 others dogs from a hoarding situation on April 12, 2020, during this pandemic. All of the animals were in need of medical attention. He received medications, vaccines and grooming. He wasn’t adopted instantly like all of his siblings because he barked in his kennel and wasn’t cute like a Yorkie. Finally, a family from Maryland saw Tanner on Petfinder and drove to our shelter in Ohio to adopt him on June 17, 2020. What a lucky puppy!
