We specialize in the rescue of abandoned hounds. Many of them are kenneled for heartworm treatment and other medical problems. They are the ones who have been using the Kongs while kenneled.

It gives them something to do while they are on cage rest.

Sadie, a Plott hound who was abandoned in Kentucky, is our most recent intake and she is just beginning her heartworm treatment. We had to fatten her up first. She will soon begin the cage rest phase of her heartworm treatment (Immiticide). We will provide her with various kinds of stimulation that will keep her from being bored. I have two Kongs here on hold for her.
