How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Many thanks for the Kia Pet Adoption Grant. With this grant, we were able to lower adoption fees for some of our dogs. Adoptions are slower this year, and being able to supplement with this grant and lower fees for adopters helped many pets get into homes faster.

These are two of the puppies that we had in rescue. They were abandoned in the desert, taken to a high[-intake] shelter, and then brought into our rescue. They were scared and shy, so a little harder to adopt out.

A wonderful adopter came along and adopted them together, which made life much easier for them. They are happy in their new home and we thank you for the Kia Pet Adoption Grant that helped us with our goal to get more dogs into homes.
