The generous grant was used for feed for the rescued animals as well as for educational, informative literature for children and adults visiting the sanctuary.
This grant enabled us to purchase sustenance for the rescued animals. The bunnies, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs and horses all enjoyed the nutritious feed.

EmmaClara came to us via the veterinarian who was called in to euthanize her. She was 5 and walked on her knees because her hooves needed trimming. I guess the people thought she should just die. It took a lot of care for many months and the vet and farrier had to work on the happy goat. She needed daily walking on pavement to toughen up her hooves as well. She is fat, happy and rears and plays with her little friend goat Faline daily now.
