We received 150 vials of Fel-O-Guard Plus 3. We vaccinated 150 cats and kittens that came into our shelter since receiving the vaccine.

The vaccine helped to insure that all the cats and kittens coming in during the grant would be protected against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia.

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Simba came into our Shelter shortly after we received the grant. He came to us ill and ragged. He was about 10 weeks old, thin, dull coat yet very sweet and loving. We tested him for FIV/FeLV which was negative. We then vaccinated with the Fel-O-Guard Plus 3 and dewormed him. He was still showing signs of diarrhea so we checked his stool and found lungworm. We started his treatment for lungworm, which took several courses. As soon as he was healthy enough, we neutered him and was finally able to put him up for adoption. Simba is a gorgeous and healthy kitten now. He is sweet and playful. His favorite toys are crinkle balls which he is famous for fetching! He has been through a lot but is quite the resilient little guy. Hopefully he will finally have a real home soon.rnrnWe greatly appreciate the help of Petfinder and Boehringer Ingelheim for the vaccine. We could not do what we do without your support. Thank you.
