How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The Kong toys were distributed to our foster dogs to provide high-quality chew toys for them.

Many of our foster parents do not have the means to buy every foster dog its own toys. The rescue is able to provide some, but the cost of food and medical care outweighs the need for toys. This grant provided some high-quality toys for our more active chewers.

Elaina is an active senior in our rescue. Her foster home includes some large dogs and Elaina was not able to chew on the toys that had been purchased for the larger dogs. She needed a toy that was more her size! The Kong grant sent toys of different sizes and we were able to find one just for Elaina. Meet her: www.petfinder.com/petdetail/41835568
