Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Two dogs were rescued after living on tow chains all of their lives. They lived outside in inclement weather and in the heat of summer with only the shell of a house for shelter. Both dogs were 5 years old. Their water bucket was muddy water, their food was thrown on the ground. Both dogs were rescued, fully vetted, and have been adopted to loving families.

Sponsored dog Aries (pictured) has been adopted. From his Petfinder profile: “This is an absolutely sleek, shiny, and slightly chunky 8-year-old boy, but if we didn’t tell you his age, you would never guess it. He was surrendered with his gal pal #141. I can’t imagine giving up such a well-mannered, nice dog. He’s a friendly tail-wagger, and please don’t pass him up because he’s not a 2-year-old. This is a good dog. If you want some youthfulness to go with him, consider his sweet gal pal as well. We will give you a two-for-one price deal you can’t pass up. If you just want him all by himself, that’s okay too.”
