Orange Julius was found walking the streets, very emaciated. A local woman who feeds community cats picked him up and got him to our rescue. He was immediately taken to the emergency vet, where he was hospitalized for severe dehydration, starvation, hyperactive thyroid, and an upper-respiratory infection. We weren’t sure this boy would pull through, but he has! Over the past three weeks, he’s gained 1.5 lbs. and his cold has cleared up. His blood work looks much better and he is expected to make a full recovery.

Best of all, OJ has been adopted! Sometimes we find an angel who will take on a special-needs cat. OJ hit the jackpot and found someone to love him for the rest of his days.
