How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

I cannot even begin to explain how much this grant helped our organization. We had so many great pets that had been sitting for quite a while and we aren't quite sure why.

Being able to reduce the adoption fees gave us the opportunity to spotlight them. Reducing fees and having an advertised adoption event entices more people to adopt, and that helps these less-adoptable animals find homes.

Buddy was a 10-year-old beagle mix who was found with his deceased canine friend in a canyon. Buddy was scared and hungry and came to us with really bad skin issues.

Buddy was overlooked for quite a few months. We were able to promote him with this grant and he found his forever home.

His new mom loves him very much and Buddy is thriving. She sends us updates and brings him in to visit, which we really enjoy.
