Jasper (first photo) lived happily in a single home until his owner passed away. A good Samaritan took Jasper in but, unfortunately, he passed away this year, leaving Jasper homeless again. A volunteer requested we take Jasper in to help him find his final forever home, and so we did.

We’re always happy to help the underdog, and as a senior with a cloudy eye, Jasper was just that: a friendly, lovable underdog. Jasper moved in with his new foster mom and waited for his perfect home. And he didn’t have to wait long.

An adopter expressed interest in Jasper but has a fixed income. Your grant helped defer the cost of adoption for a senior adopter on a limited budget. For all the trauma Jasper has been through, he is still a very sweet and loving cat and has become best buds with his new owner (second photo). His owner intends to spend the money he saved on the adoption fee to spoil Jasper!

One more thing that’s really cool about Jasper’s adopter: He has a cloudy eye too, making them a perfectly matched pair!
