We received a KONG toy grant, and we've used it for our adoptable animals.

We have had a few pets who need the extra stimulation to help them with their energy levels. This grant has worked wonders, especially for our pit bull, Prince, who has been in our care over a year now.

Prince is a purebred pit bull who has been in our care for over a year. He’s a very good boy, but he has a very high energy level, like most pit bulls, and we’ve been trying to find ways to help him with some of his extra energy. Prince, unfortunately, also has very bad allergies — something that special food is helping with — so we have to be careful with toys and treats.
