Lending Paws a Hand, Inc.: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The money was used to help fund expenses associated with vaccinations and spay/neuters for puppies in the rescue.

This grant tremendously helped our organization. We originally had planned Puppy Yoga to help pay for vaccinations and spay/neuter of the puppies, but due to Covid-19, we had to cancel our event and lost all fundraising associated with helping the puppies. Because of this grant, we were able to vaccinate and spay/neuter the puppies and most importantly, they were able to find their forever homes!

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Denny was a Chihuahua mix puppy born right before Covid-19. When Covid hit, it was extremely hard to fundraise enough money to help him and his siblings get their vaccinations and spay/neuter. This grant helped Denny and his siblings in so many ways. Not only were we able to complete his vaccinations/vet care, but because it was completed, he was able to find his forever home and now has a wonderful boy as his best friend! Thank you, Petfinder Foundation, for all the work you do and for helping a sweet Chihuahua family have an amazing adoption success story!
