Love Mutts Rescue: Sponsor a Pet Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We received donations in response to a rescue dog of ours named Rue. The money was used for his vetting a care.

We are a 501c3 and rely on donations in order to continue rescuing animals and providing them necessary vetting. These donations allowed us to provide proper vetting to an animal greatly in need.

These donations greatly helped us provide vetting for Rue. Here is Rue’s story: Rue came to us at 8 months old. She was found on a stormy night, huddled in a woman’s garage. This poor girl was missing most of her fur and covered in oozing red sores due to mange. Her skin was raw, swollen, and painful, and her intestines were ridden with parasites. She could barely walk as she was in so much pain. This wonderful person took her in for the night and reached out to us. We couldn’t say no to this beautiful little girl who needed us! Even with the amount of pain she was in, she always had a tail wag and a kiss to give. After weeks of medicated baths, vetting, and love, this girl has flourished. She’s now a happy-go-lucky pup who has a wonderful new family. She finally has the life she deserves!
