Pisgah Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc.: COVID-19 Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We purchased a large cage for kittens ($249), three trays of cat/kitten vaccines ($291.50), a bottle of Drontal dewormer for cats ($191.99), and kitten food and formula ($20) using the $750 grant money.

This grant helped us save and care for approximately 50 kittens. It provided extra cage space, vaccines, dewormer, and food for the kittens.

How many pets did this grant help?

Please provide a story of one or more specific pets this grant helped.

Thanks to the grant, we were able to rescue a mother cat named Betty and her eight little kittens. They lived in the nice, big cage we purchased with the Petfinder Foundation grant until the kittens were weaned. Then, the kittens were put up for adoption and they all got adopted! Betty has been spayed and is patiently waiting for her forever home.
