The Dedman Foudation: A Shot at Life Vaccination Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

It has impacted our shelter in many positive ways. Our shelter had three pregnant feline mothers surrendered. They had eye and nose infections. The Dedman Foundation nursed all three of the pregnant mothers back to health and ten healthy kittens where born. The Petfinder Foundation has literally saved ten kittens lives. The vaccinations continue to help stay, abandoned or surrendered kittens and cats that come into our facility.

Through this grant the Dedman Foundation was able to keep up on the vacations and give them all the vacations that kittens require.They have all been spayed/neutered with all up to date vaccinations and are now in forever homes.

Petey is one of the kittens that came from one of the pregnant mothers. He had a rough start in life. He had a low immune system due to his mother being sick during pregnancy. He had several eye and a nose infections which got treated. He received all the vaccinations that a kitten requires and he also was neutered. He finally found a forever home and is a happy and healthy cat.
